I used this cable from my cable DVR box to my 2.1 surround sound home

theater system to use instead of TV speakers. works and sounds great!

This cable works OK, its just my TV. Was hoping to get digital sound from anything that is connected to the TV, but my TV only sends digital audio for whats connected to the component in ports. ( vcr, games systems) Had to still use the old red and white cable to get surround sound from the TV broadcasts.

Crystal clear sound. Great upgrade. If you have a digital surround sound system and spend tons of money on components, you have wasted your money without buying this cable. It would be like buying a new car and refusing to put gas in it.

Bought it on Amazon for a cheep price. Works as well as the more expensive Optical Cable I have.
