Very nice looking and sturdy. Height adjustment is nice because it will adjust quite high.

I’ve ordered these Onstage music stands for our church a couple of times. We’ve had a couple of other types of stand that just didn’t hold up very well. These Conductor stands are sturdy and easily adjustable. They are portable and not too heavy, and are holding up very well. We’re staying with this stand whenever we need an old one replaced.

At the time I am writing this review, there are already 12 5-star ratings on this music stand. I will add my 5 stars as well. This has to be the best music stand I have ever used. I have been playing for years. I have used every kind of stand from the cheap silver wire ones you can fold up and almost put in your pocket, up to the Manhasset stands that are almost solid metal. I have to say, this is the best of them all. The moment I opened the box and put the thing together, I could feel the quality. This is one solid stand. I love the way it is designed. You can raise or lower the feet depending on how much space you have at the bottom. This comes in handy when you are playing gigs where space is an issue. Also, I love the clamps that lock it in place, They feel sturdy and seem to hold well. Finally, when you spread the feet out on this thing, you cannot push it over with ease. It would take a major gust of wind to blow it over, yet, it is still rather light weight. All in all, I would highly recommend this stand to any serious musician in search of a solid, well designed and built music stand. I already own an OnStage boom stand and it is great, so I knew I would not go wrong buying their music stand. An excellent choice.

I love this stand! We had been using the cheap fold-up stands which are not suited for keeping multiple books at home. We have 4 music students at home, including adults and children, so we have several books we like to keep out at once. One of the books is an inch or so thick and pretty wide and heavy. This stand holds them all without any tipping. It’s even wide enough that I can arrange the books so that it’s easy to quickly pick your own music from the pile. It is easy to configure the height. We use it in both standing and sitting position, so we use this feature a lot. It also has nice rubber feet so it doesn’t scratch the wooden floor.
The only issue we had was similar to another reviewer’s where the packaging was not sufficient. Amazon did place the box inside it’s own box, but it still came with the corner crushed. Luckily, the stand was fine. So it apparently holds up to rough handling very well.
The price is very good for what you get also. It was about 1/3 cheaper than our local music store’s similar stand, and also way better.

I’ve own this stand for 2 years now, and I cannot stop recommending it. once again, its very sturdy, it looks professional, and although weight and portability are somewhat compromised, the overall performance is outstanding. Mine has gone through several hardships, being lost and dusted away, and being mistreated, dropped, and the normal grit of everyday use, and is still in excellent condition. apart from holding music, this stand, when horizontally set. is sturdy enough to hold a laptop computer and, since its adjustable, i’ve often used it in presentations when standing up, or sitting down. I personally thing it is a must for anyone with serious, or otherwise, musical intentions
