Although I entered a search for Pro Tools LE 8 this book pooped up in the search.

It’s NOT about LE 8 it’s about Pro Tools HD.

The search and description DO NOT indicate that.

I suppose it’s a good book for HD but doesn’t help with LE 8.

Wish it would have said it was about the HD system and not the LE. HD costs about $10,00 only studios pay that much.

For new Pro Tools users like myself (I’m crossing over from PC/Sonar to Mac/Pro Tools), this book is a really good supplement used in combination with the Pro Tools Guide and Training Videos that come with the Pro Tools software. It gives extra details around training areas. There’s a lot of info here, so for new users, I would suggest spending a little time becoming somewhat familiar with the Pro Tools Guide and Video for basics before digging into this book. Then you’ll find this book is right on target.
